EDI Services launch new Voices of Diversity series for 2025

The EDI Services team, in partnership with the Events team, are pleased to announce the Voices of Diversity Mental Health Series.

Each Mental Health Series event will focus on a specific theme and feature panel discussions led by Loughborough staff, students and alumni. The aim of the series is to raise awareness and increase knowledge of mental health and how it impacts students and staff from various backgrounds.

The overarching goal is to help develop a more inclusive environment where people have space to discuss their lived realities and for others to learn more about the lived realities of various groups within the Loughborough community.

Launching on 30 January, the first topic will be ‘Senior Leading Women’. This event will explore women in senior leadership positions and how they can be impacted by stress, anxiety, and feelings of imposter syndrome. The event will be held from 12.30pm-2pm in SMB017, Stuart Mason Building and online via Microsoft Teams. All members of the Loughborough community are encouraged to attend. Book your place now.

Future sessions of the event series include:

  • 11 March - International Students and Early Careers
  • 22 May - Racialised Minority Groups
  • 17 June - LGBTQ+ Community
  • 5 August - Carers and Caring Responsibilities
  • 3 November - Men and Kindness
  • 16 December - Neurodiversity and Learning Difficulties
