Successful previous projects included:

• Open Day workshops for BAME parents and guardians of prospective HE students.
• A drag night featuring drag performers of colour. 
• Facilitation and development of a student-led BAME support and social group in the School of Design and Creative Arts
• A student-led community event exploring Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic student pathways into a PhD
• A series of community-oriented art spaces at Loughborough University London
• Funding places for staff network leads to attend the d&i leaders Empowering Employee Networks Conference
• Queer East Midlands Film Festival hosted by the LGBT+ staff network during LGBT+ History Month

How the process will work

Staff and students are invited to bid for funding using the application form.

There two opportunities in the academic year to make bids which will be considered by a panel, including colleagues who do not work in EDI Services. 

The next panel will be on 23 January 2025. The deadline for applications to this panel is 20 January 2025.
