LGBT+ History Month Book Club: Mr Loverman

About this event

In honour of LGBT History Month, the LGBTQ+ Staff Network and Loughborough University Library Book Club are diving into powerful stories, voices, and histories that celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. Their book of the month will be Mr Loverman by Bernadette Evaristo.

Mr Loverman is a ground-breaking exploration of Britain's older Caribbean community, which explodes cultural myths and fallacies and shows the extent of what can happen when people fear the consequences of being true to themselves.

Please visit the event website to access the AudioBook and eBook versions, and links to the recent BBC adaptation.

Come together to celebrate, honour, and learn about LGBTQ+ history, one page at a time.
