Equity Diversity Inclusion Open House Conversation

About this event

Staff and students are invited to the upcoming Equity Diversity Inclusion Open House Conversation.

The Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Core Plan was approved by Council in June 2024 and there is lots of activity emerging in the EDI space with numerous emerging priorities and initiatives gaining momentum.

To find out more about what is happening in EDI at Loughborough, all staff and students are warmly invited to attend the EDI Open House Event to join in the conversation.

You will hear about:

  • How the vision and principles of EDI are being realised in practice
  • Progress so far with the prioritised plans for EDI development particularly in relation to EDI leadership and EDI data
  • Through initiatives such as the Peace Assembly, how EDI is facilitating important and sometimes difficult conversations in light of global conflict and events in the UK
  • Strategic developments in Vibrant and Inclusive Community work at Loughborough

Veronica Moore, Director of EDI and Emily Keightley, Associate Pro Vice Chancellor for Vibrant and Inclusive Community will present the developments and there will an opportunity to discuss what you have heard on the day or to discuss EDI matters at Loughborough more generally.

Light refreshments will be provided. We greatly look forward to seeing you there!
