Brigita completed her undergraduate degree with First Class Honours in BA Criminology from Middlesex University, London. She received the Johan Auld Award for the Best Dissertation from her programme in 2020. In 2021, Brigita graduated with a Distinction for her Postgraduate degree in International Relations from Goldsmiths University, London. She is undertaking her doctorate study provisionally titled Transition, Nostalgia, and Political Communication in Lithuania: A Walkthrough Analysis With Lithuanians at Loughborough University from 2021. The thesis is being supervised by Prof Emily Keightley and Dr Alena Pfoser.

Brigita’s doctoral project aims to answer the question of the role the processes of state-facilitated communications have played in the emergence of the new Lithuanian narrative about the past.
