Opportunities to study abroad as part of an undergraduate degree
Studying abroad is a fantastic way to gain insight into another culture, meet new people, increase your adaptability and develop new language skills.
Loughborough University has exchange agreements with a number of partner universities across the world. The majority of our partners offer modules taught in English, so language skills need not be a barrier to going on a study exchange. Depending on your programme, you may be able to spend a semester or full year overseas. Most study abroad opportunities are offered in Part I, but your School will be able to advise if other options are available.
Applications for exchange programmes are usually made in Semester 1 of the academic year prior to the planned exchange, so give yourself plenty of time to research potential destinations, the application process and study abroad funding.
