World autism awareness month 2024

Posted: 3 April 2024

Organisations across the world are raising awareness for the need to create a world that recognises and values the unique perspectives and strengths of people with autism. Autism is a lifelong developmental disability which affects how people communicate and interact with the world. More than one in 100 people are on the autism spectrum and there are around 700,000 autistic adults and children in the UK. Take some time to learn about the experience of autistic and neurodiverse people at Loughborough.
