Laundry facilities
We have laundry facilities on campus for our students living in halls.
Using the washing facilities
For many students, university is your first time living away from home - so it may be the first time you're using a washing machine or tumble dryer too. Follow our guide below on how to reserve and pay for your washing in your hall's laundrette.
You have the option to reserve a washer for 10 mins from anywhere online:
- Choose washer or dryer
- Option to add another machine (Yes/No)
- Select cycle
- Proceed with payment
Using the machines:
- Load machine with washing – Max 3/4 full
- If you are washing, add your detergent and close door
- Press start on the machine
- You’ll receive an email to notify you that the cycle is ending
Information on how to use the machines will be on display in each laundry facility. There is no need to find the correct change to do your wash, as the machines operate using a mobile app and/or credit card payment.
