Paddy graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2019 with a BSc in Sport and Exercise Sciences, completing a third-year dissertation project investigating the impact of post-training sauna bathing on heat acclimation in middle-distance runners. Alongside his PhD, Paddy coaches the Lightning Cycling Elite Development Team and riders in the Loughborough Cycling Academy, bridging the gap between research and practice.
Research
Starting at Loughborough University in 2019, Paddy's doctoral research is investigating the effect of low-intensity exercise duration on skeletal muscle signalling responses.
