Congcong holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Shandong University of Finance and Economics and a Master’s in Education from Tongji University, where she also worked as a Research Assistant (2022–2023). She has diverse international experience, having studied as an exchange student at the University of Hong Kong (2017), Solbridge International Business School, South Korea (2019), and Technical University of Madrid, Spain (2021).
Congcong’s research interests focus on the sociology of sport, with a particular emphasis on football fan culture. She investigates the social dynamics and cultural aspects of football fandoms, exploring how fan identities and behaviours are influenced by societal factors. Her work aims to offer insights into the role of sport in shaping group identities and community connections.
