Wenjuan works with Dr James Sanders as a Research Assistant in Digital Health and Machine Learning, supporting the development and evaluation of machine learning models designed to nudge people towards healthier habits.

Alongside her role in the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences, Wenjuan is conducting doctoral research in the Department of Computer Science at Loughborough University. Her research focuses on the topic of the visual focus of attention detection. Wenjuan holds an MSc in Advanced Computer Science (Intelligent Systems) from the University of Leeds and a BEng in Software Engineering from Huaqiao University, China.        

Wenjuan is currently a doctoral researcher in the Department of Computer Science at Loughborough University. Her research interests lie in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Human-Robot Interaction. Her PhD focuses on enhancing the detection of visual focus of attention by leveraging various types of data, which involves complex data processing and model development.
