Rebecca completed her BSc and MSc in Sport & Exercise Psychology at Loughborough University. She now works as a Research Assistant with Dr Carolyn Plateau and Dr Jamie Barker in Elite Cricket, Gambling and Mental Health, supporting the empirical data collection to explore the role of group dynamics (e.g., social and peer influences) on gambling attitudes, behaviours and consequences within elite and professional cricket.
Prior to her current role, Rebecca’s research (currently under review) focused on experiences of mental health and support in the female academy cricket context. Rebecca also worked as a research assistant with Jamie Barker and Carolyn Plateau on a project to understand priority research areas for gambling in cricket.
