Mohsen graduated in Mechanical Engineering in Iran in 2009. He then moved to the UK and studied MSc Sports Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University in 2012. Mohsen completed his PhD in Sports Biomechanics at Loughborough University in 2018.

Mohsen is now a Research Associate at the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences at Loughborough University.

Mohsen’s research interests lie in the areas of physical activity and public health. He is particularly interested in the interaction between exercise, diet and obesity-related chronic disease. Mohsen is currently undertaking research examining the impact of multicomponent lifestyle health behaviour intervention in long distance lorry drivers (The SHIFT study).

Mohsen also has a keen interest in the fields of sports biomechanics and motor control, investigating the mechanics of technique in springboard diving and how aspects of motor control influence and limit diving performance.
