As well as a focus on the translation of research through knowledge exchange, Kris also works to develop local and national partnerships and exploit business development opportunities. She plays a key role in patient and public involvement and engagement (PPIE) activities for the school, which encompasses a range of activities from the development of principles for practice, focus groups for funding bids, and outreach events.
Kris is also the NCSEM East Midlands consortium manager. This role involves supporting the development of local partnerships and strengthening the ties between members, as well as ensuring the NCSEM East Midlands is a major contributor to the NCSEM as a whole.
