Wolfson EDI Event: Know My Heritage - 'Japan'
The Wolfson School EDI Events Team warmly invited to attend our next Know My Heritage event on Japan that is hosted by Professor Max Zecca.
Japan through my eyes: adventures and misadventures of a Gaijin
Have you ever wondered what it's like to live in Japan (not just visit) as an outsider? Join me for a captivating journey through this marvellous country, seen through the lens of a gaijin (that's me!). We'll venture beyond the well-trodden tourist paths and dive into the humorous and sometimes bewildering experiences that come with being a foreigner in Japan. From the bustling metropolis of my neighbourhood in Tokyo to the serene beauty of the countryside, prepare to be amazed by the contrasts and wonders that make Japan so unique. Along the way, we'll explore my attempts to master the Japanese language, discover the delicious world of Japanese cuisine, and gain insights into the quirks and charms of Japanese culture from a fresh, outsider's perspective.
