Qinqing is a doctoral researcher at Loughborough University's School of Creative Arts and Design, specialising in the intersection of cultural heritage and human-computer interaction (HCI). With a solid foundation in Industrial Design, holding a bachelor's degree from Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, China, and a master's degree in Integrated Industrial Design from Loughborough University, UK, Qinqing leverages her expertise to explore the dynamic interplay between technology, culture, and society.

Qinqing’s research, titled “Exploring How Interactive Technologies Can Support the Building of Resilience in British-Chinese Immigrant Communities: Harnessing the Power of Heritage Dissemination”, addresses the acculturation pressures faced by British-Chinese immigrants, highlighting the pivotal role of mutual acculturation in overcoming these challenges. By conceptualising cultural heritage as a participatory and dynamic process that shapes social identities, her study focuses on how the cultural heritage of British-Chinese immigrants can foster community resilience.
