As a visiting doctoral researcher at the Design School, Loughborough University, I had an enriching and inspiring year of study and research. During this time, I benefited immensely from the guidance of professors and fellow researchers, which enabled me to collaboratively publish two research papers focused on electric bike activities. The frequent seminars and discussions offered invaluable insights into the latest advancements and findings in the field, broadening my perspective and sparking new ideas. This experience has been both academically and personally rewarding, leaving me with cherished memories and a lasting appreciation for the vibrant research environment at Loughborough University.
My current research focuses on electric bikes and micromobility, exploring their evolution, development trends, and the policies required to scale their adoption. I am particularly interested in their role within sustainable transport systems, examining how they contribute to reducing car dependency and improving urban mobility. My work integrates the analysis of usage patterns, the impact of infrastructure and technology, and the development of strategies to promote greener and more efficient transport solutions.
