Ellie Edwards - Paleorock
I am a Fine Art student, and I have my own business, Paleorock, where I curate hand-carved rock sculptures of fossils to create naturally sourced, sustainable pieces of art. These sculptures make perfect ornaments to display at home on the coffee table or even outside in the garden to add art and nature to any space. Alongside these sculptures, I carve rock pendants and charms which I make into unique necklaces and key rings.
My business is a product that stemmed from a concept of reinventing history and reimagining palaeontology through my own artwork. My products are unique, refined and environmentally conscious, which is what makes it stand out from the rest.
Kitty Finn - KitFine
I am Kitty, a textile design student, I have started a knitwear brand called KitFine - a mixture of my name and the words 'fine knit'. I am designing and creating knitwear on a machine using either deadstock or sustainably sourced yarn.
I have a core collection and will eventually take commissions for one-off pieces.
Grace Gladwin - Landoformia
My business Landoformia designs bespoke miniature model landscapes for individuals with an avid interest in scale trains, figurines and fantasy. The scale models that I produce can be used as a unique setting for tabletop gaming, landscaping for figures, or alternatively as a mantelpiece. Creating small-scale models has always been an enthusiasm of mine because it challenges the viewer to question the actuality of what’s in front of them and allows imagination to run wild.

I’m Elliot, a Finance and Management student who has created the business Cardizmo. This is an EPOS system integration software which aims to help small local businesses promote digitally.

Each piece is carefully redesigned to be both fashionable and environmentally friendly.

Alex McNulty – Author
Hey everyone, I’m Alex. I'm writing a self-help book which intends to debunk commons myths, notions and assumptions surrounding how we go about improving ourselves in today's day and age. It does this by proposing a series of counter-intuitive principles which draw inspiration from many domains of knowledge, namely philosophy, psychology, biology and history.
Alex Melloy – Professional athlete
I am a professional 1500m runner, sponsored by adidas with hopes of one day reaching the Olympics. During the Year in Enterprise, I am aiming to treat myself and my career more like a business, taking tighter control over my incomes and outflows and ultimately aiming to become more profitable. I have delivered presentations to schools in my local area on the importance of a professional mindset and drew upon my experience as an international competitor to share my advice on what I believe it takes to reach the top.
On the Year in Enterprise I look to couple my progression and improvement in athletics with skills learnt in a business context, including the way in which I market myself, to improve my strength during contract renegotiations.
