Applications are now open for the University’s Community Donations Fund

Loughborough University is providing an opportunity for community groups and organisations local to the East Midlands and London campuses to receive support for their projects.

All three categories of the fund are open for applications:

Open Fund

This fund is open to groups and organisations across Charnwood. You can apply for a maximum of £500.

Inside Out Fund

This fund is open to staff members of the University who are active volunteers in charities, groups or other community organisations. You can apply for a maximum of £500. 

London Open Fund

Celebrating our home on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the Loughborough University London Open Fund is only available to organisations/groups based within and working in one or more of the London Boroughs of Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Newham or Waltham Forest. You can apply for a maximum of £1000.

For the current round of bids, the University is aligning the fund with the core themes of the new University strategy. Applications will be particularly welcome for projects that link to health and wellbeing, climate change and sustainability or vibrant/inclusive communities. 

The closing date for applications is Monday 3 March 2025.
