Congratulations to Luke Peters, Research Fellow in the Emergent Photonics Research Centre, who was named on the Photonics 100 list which celebrates the remarkable achievements of 100 leading individuals driving innovation in photonics and optical technology worldwide.
Luke is at the forefront of developments at the Emergent Photonics Research Centre, which was launched at Loughborough University in June this year.
The centre is dedicated to revolutionising science and technology through photonics. Luke and other colleagues in the centre, which boasts state of the art research facilities, focus on advancing ultra-fast nonlinear optics, complexity and photonics knowledge, and creating innovative technologies with application ranging from quantum physics to biology.
Luke was recognised in the Photonics 100 list for his "remarkable work in the photonics industry which has made a significant impact" and for his "dedication to advancing the field".
