Dr Dan Butcher speaks to the BBC’s flagship technology programme about his research into improving the aerodynamics of wheelchair racing.

Dan explains how he is working with Paralympic athlete Melanie Woods to understand how body position can reduce the impact of drag in three key wheelchair racing phases - catch, release and recovery.

This work will enable Dan to work with wheelchair manufacturers to improve technology, as well as with athletes to help them understand the aerodynamic impact of their technique.
