Loughborough Arts Map

We’ve produced a Loughborough arts map and guide to showcase the arts and culture offering in the town. There are lots of places that can help you get creative and get involved in the arts. We hope that you'll pick up a copy and enjoy exploring them, whether you’re a student, member of staff at the University or a local resident.

This map will give you a good idea of the range and depth of places on your doorstep, but it is not an exhaustive list. Event listings and further information can be found on local website such as www.DiscoverCharnwood.co.uk and www.LoveLoughborough.co.uk.

Maya Patel - the illustrator

We selected current Loughborough University Graphic Design student Maya Patel as the illustrator for our arts map. Maya impressed us with her unique creative vision and strong portfolio. As part of this exciting commission, she worked closely with ourselves and others to research and highlight the vibrant cultural spots across the town. Here's what Maya had to say about the experience:

"Designing the arts map was a truly rewarding experience. I loved seeing my illustrations bring the Loughborough arts scene to life and am so grateful for the opportunity and support from LU Arts."
