Most of our in-person events take place on the Loughborough University campus in the buildings pinpointed on the map above.
By car
The University campus is approximately two miles from Junction 23 of the M1. It is clearly sign posted on all the main approach roads to Loughborough.
Visit the location pages of the University website
Parking
Students, staff and visitors are required to register their vehicle and pay to park on campus.
Edward Barnsley (inc Cope Auditorium) and 3D Design Buildings
Parking at Edward Barnsley is restricted to University Staff and Student Permit Holders (permit holder means pre-registered and approved in the parking system) only from 6am to 6pm Monday to Friday, all other times and weekends will be consistent with main campus.
This means no non-permit University students, Loughborough College students or visitors are permitted to park in the Creative Arts Car Park during these hours (6am - 6pm Monday to Friday).
Martin Hall
Enter campus via the main University entrance (East) off Epinal Way. The nearest car park is Car Park 9. There are a limited number of parking spaces next to Martin Hall on Towers Way, which runs parallel to Epinal Way.
Loughborough Students’ Union
There is a pay and display car park on the right hand side as you enter the main University campus (East entrance), before you come to the security barriers.
Additional parking information and contacts
Staff can access any University car park and the details/locations are shown on the Loughborough Campus Map.
The campus bus shuttle service will transport staff across campus free of charge and should be used to support areas where parking is limited. The Kinch Sprint service which serves the town and train station will permit staff and students to travel free of charge to the Creative Arts site over the other side of Epinal Way.
For more information, please visit the dedicated Parking webpages or contact parking@mailbox.lboro.ac.uk.
By bus
The Kinchbus Sprint service operates from the railway station (via the town centre) every ten minutes during term time (Mon-Fri), and slightly less frequently at other times.
For Cope Auditorium and Martin Hall, you are best alighting at the Radmoor Centre stop outside Loughborough College. To get to Martin Hall from here, continue to walk in the bus’s direction of travel, crossing Epinal Way at the pedestrian crossing. As you enter Shirley Pearce Square (straight ahead), Martin Hall is on your left.
For Students' Union, alight at the Students' Union bus stop, which is the first stop after you pass through the main University entrance.
By rail
Loughborough’s railway station is approximately 2 miles away with regular connections to Leicester, Nottingham, Derby, Birmingham and London. Sprint buses run from the station to campus.
