Alumnus continues to utilise design engineering skills gained at Loughborough in his retirement
Chris Gibson graduated from Loughborough with a DLC qualification in General Engineering in 1966. He gained many skills during his time at Loughborough that supported his career in engineering-related roles. Queen’s Baton designed by alumni and current student
Raymont-Osman Product Design is a company based in Warwickshire. Along with Birmingham Open Media and two other local design specialists, they were commissioned to design the Queen’s Baton for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. Three alumni and a current Loughborough student were involved in the development and design of this technological device.
