Alumnus makes international rugby league debut for Hong Kong

After graduating from Loughborough University in 2018, Callum Man pursued rugby as a career.

Callum moved to Hong Kong in August 2023 to play semi-professional rugby for Hong Kong Scottish, while also working as a Program Manager at The Hutong, an outdoor education company. 

He played Rugby League during his time at Loughborough as a student while studying for a degree in Sport Management between 2014 and 2018.  

Recently making his debut for the Hong Kong national rugby league team against Japan in October, Callum earned his second Cap in a game against Philippines – winning the Presidents Cup by 34-20. 

Members of Callum’s family were born in Hong Kong, giving him the opportunity to play for their national team.
