Share your #LboroJourney
Did Loughborough help you on your way to your dream job or a new city? Tell us all about it in a short video using #LboroJourney.
Over the next few weeks, we are asking you to share your #LboroJourney. You can get involved across social media by using the hashtag, or you can upload a video or written comment using our online form. However you choose to get involved, you have the chance to win a prize! Our competition is open from 18 February – 28 March 2025.
We are asking you, as our alumni, to share insights into your Loughborough journey. Every journey is personal, and we want to find out how Loughborough has impacted you and your career.
What have you been up to since completing your studies at Loughborough? Where has your career taken you? How did your degree and other activities at Loughborough help you to secure your dream job? Have you moved to a new city or country?
Whatever your story, we’re excited to hear from you.
For the chance to win a prize worth £100, share your experiences in a short online video using #LboroJourney.
If videos or social media are not for you, don’t worry, you also have the option to upload a video using our online form or to send your written comments in instead. Everyone is welcome to get involved, and we can’t wait to share the vast array of career journeys and Loughborough experiences with the rest of the Loughborough family!
Inspiration
Successful entries to #LboroJourney will talk about career trajectory, time at Loughborough, and might also talk about extra-curricular activities that were undertaken, too.
What we’re looking for is inspiring stories for our prospective students, current students, and fellow alumni. What is interesting about your career or job role that would be inspiring to someone else interested in your sector? What is one standout moment from your career so far – and how did Loughborough help you to get there? We'd love to see some photographs or videos from your time at Loughborough as part of the video, too.
Maybe you could share a 'day in the life' video, showcasing your career! Take a look at these great examples over on Instagram shared by Jack and Olivia. They produced their own videos to share as promotional pieces for a recent on-campus event. Jack is a professional video producer, and Olivia produced hers using a phone, showing that you can get high quality content and can bring together a really interesting piece without the professional equipment.
Think about your career, current role, and how your Loughborough experience has supported your journey.
