Loughborough Rugby President's Day

The President of Loughborough Students’ Rugby, Kevin Lucyszyn, would like to invite you back to Loughborough to join him for his second Rugby President’s Day, taking place on Saturday 12 April 2025. 

The day includes hospitality at the pre-match lunch, the National League 2 match, and various award presentations at lunch, half time, and post-match.

The day is an opportunity for alumni and friends of Loughborough Rugby to come together and celebrate the current successes of the university teams.

You’ll be able to enjoy access to the JC's Bar in the Students’ Union from 11am, with lunch and activities commencing from midday before the match at 2pm.

The schedule for the day

11:00 Arrive at JC's Bar at the Students' Union to enjoy a few drinks.

Catch up with friends ahead of lunch.

12:00 Lunch in the Students' Union featuring guest speakers (names to be announced).

There will be a two-course table service lunch. On the menu is Hunters Chicken (vegetarian option available) with mixed vegetables followed by chocolate brownie with ice cream.

During lunch there will be a series of Honorary Awards given to new Life Members and Vice-Presidents and the Supporter of the Year Award will also be presented.

14:00 Kickoff: Loughborough V Redruth (National League 2 West).

There will be half time entertainment and the Unsung Hero Award will be presented. 

16:00 Post match presentations and socialising.

Players and coaches from the performance squad will join guests at around 16:15. 

There will be a series of final awards and presentations for the Representative Honours Award - The Daryl Jelinek Cup and Players Player of the Year - The Dave Egerton Cup.

17:00 Closing speech 

There will be a closing speech from alumnus Kevin Lucyszyn.
